Already for the twelfth time, the Pärnu Music Festival will offer amazing concerts during the summer. Beginning on July 13, the festival will bring over 200 musicians to the summer capital of Estonia, but thanks to our own Pärnu Music Festival TV you can enjoy the full programme of the festival from anywhere in the world!
This time, the festival is enriched by various jubilees. We can all partake in celebrating Neeme Järvi’s 85th and Kristjan Järvi’s 50th birthday, with Neeme conducting the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Kristjan conducting the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, an orchestra founded by himself. Paavo Järvi and the Estonian Festival Orchestra will give a total of 4 concerts with Joshua Bell (violin), Stefan Dohr (horn), Wayne Marshall (piano), Triin Ruubel (violin) and Marcel Johannes Kits (cello) as the soloists. The festival programme also features the traditional Järvi Academy concerts as well as several nights filled with chamber music.
