THE WORLD MEETS IN PÄRNU!
The program for the 2024 edition of the Pärnu Music Festival, which was selected among Europe's top 29 classical music festivals last year, has been announced. The festival's creative team promises to keep some surprises in store, but the published programme on www.parnumusicfestival.ee unveils this years lineup.
From 9-19 July 2024, the XIV Pärnu Music Festival will present world class soloists in the summer capital of Estonia, including Kirill Gerstein (piano), Alisa Weilerstein (cello), and Ksenija Sidorova (accordion). Alongside them, internationally renowned soloists from Estonia, Hans Christian Aavik (violin), Indrek Leivategija (cello), and Tähe-Lee Liiv (piano), are expected to draw in audiences. The festival commences on 9 July with pre-concerts in Tallinn and at the Arvo Pärt Centre, where the Järvi Academy Sinfonietta and the ambitious and international Järvi Academy Conducting Course will meet the audience for the first time this summer. For the following ten days, spanning from 10 July to 19 July, the Pärnu Concert Hall will be teeming with the diverse, yet tight-knit community of musicians and joyous audiences enjoying a different programme every night, but thanks to our own Pärnu Music Festival TV you can enjoy our programme from anywhere in the world!
