The presence of Arvo Pärt in our cultural space and the musical strong connection with home audience is a privilege. Arvo’s 3th Symphony (1971) is dedicated to Neeme Järvi and this year it was performed by Paavo Järvi and Estonian Festival Orchestra in Pärnu Concert Hall, London Royal Albert Hall and in Hamburg’s brand new Elbphilharmonie's. The concert in Pärnu made a special atmosphere with Neeme and Arvo both in the audience whole-heartedly supporting. There is a small introduction by Paavo Järvi before the recording. The director of the recording Ülle Õun, operating manager Andres Suurevälja, sound engineers Siim Mäesalu and Kaspar Kärner, producer Helen Valkna. The taking was made by Pärnu Music Festival, Japanese TV channel NHK and with Estoanian Public Broadcasting.
